Expand Your Business Horizons with French Company Formation

TBA Global is pleased to announce the launch of our new French Company Formation service.

France is not only a central hub for European commerce but also offers a dynamic environment for international sellers and entrepreneurs.

Whether you are an e-commerce seller aiming to improve your credibility on selling platforms, or a business seeking to streamline cross-border trade, establishing a French entity is a strategic step forward into the wider EU market.

Why the SAS company structure is the ideal choice for you

For international businesses, we specifically recommend and support the Société par Actions Simplifiée (SAS), or Simplified Joint-Stock Company.

This structure is widely recognised as the most flexible option for foreign owners.

Unlike other entity types that may have rigid requirements, the SAS allows for 100% of shares to be held by foreign individuals or companies.  The management structure is also highly adaptable – you can appoint a non-resident Président (equivalent to company Director) without the need for them to reside in France.

Another advantage of the SAS structure is its compatibility with major e-commerce platforms.

Having a legal entity in the EU eases the verification processes (KYC) and enhances your credibility on sales platforms such as Amazon.

This flexibility ensures that you can maintain control of your business operations from your home country while enjoying the benefits of a local French identity.

Seamless VAT and EORI registration

Establishing a French company significantly simplifies tax compliance too. With our French company formation package, assistance with both VAT and EORI registration is included as standard.

VAT registration is essential for tax compliance when selling goods or services, especially across the EU market.  Similarly, an EORI (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) number is mandatory for any business wishing to import or export goods within the EU.

For businesses engaged in cross-border trade, having a French VAT number allows you to access the EU market more effectively.

Our all-in-one package makes the registration process as seamless as possible.  Once your company is successfully incorporated, we can register the company for VAT and EORI.  Additionally, you’ll also become eligible for the VAT One Stop Shop scheme, further streamlining VAT reporting and trading across multiple EU countries.

Basic requirements for formation

We’ve designed the company formation process to be as straightforward as possible.

To form an SAS company, you only need a minimum of one shareholder, who can be either an individual or a corporate entity.  Our standard application process has a minimum capital requirement of only €100.

We’ll also help with your application documents, and any necessary translation and notarisation requirements.

You also won’t need a physical office lease immediately.  Our package includes the use of a virtual registered office address for the first year, along with mail scanning.

Ongoing support and additional services

Our commitment to your business does not end with incorporation.

Running a French company comes with mandatory compliance obligations, such as annual filings and bookkeeping.

We can offer ongoing support to ensure you remain compliant, with bespoke additional services for accounting, annual filing, VAT return filing, and much more.
