  8. When you expect to reach the $75,000 annual sale threshold.

Most frequent questions and answers

You must register for GST when your annual sales exceed AUS$ 75,000.

If you do not register for GST and your annual sales exceeds AUS$ 75,000 then you have 21 days to register for GST. If you do not register in this time then you will be fined with a large penalty as well as having to make up the GST owed.

The length of time will vary from case to case, however on average it will take 2-3 months.
